Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MEPC Head to lead and manage our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, operations, and facility management services. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in overseeing large-scale solar energy projects, including the management of stores, warehouses, and manpower, ensuring timely and quality delivery to clients Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - 1. EPC Project Management: Oversee the execution of EPC projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 2. Operations & Maintenance: Manage the operation and maintenance of passive infrastructure and facility management services, ensuring optimal performance. 3. Material & Logistics Management: Supervise the movement of materials and equipment across interstate locations, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations. 4. Customer Engagement: Maintain regular interactions with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for business development 5. Budgeting & Cost Management: Finalize the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monitor operational expenses, implementing cost-saving measures where possible. 6. Project Billing & KPIs: Ensure timely invoicing and adherence to project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), plans, and First-Time Right (FTR) metrics. 7. Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring job satisfaction and professional growth for team members. 8. EHS Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines, promoting a safe working environment. 9. Data Management: Design and implement Management Information Systems (MIS) and presentation formats for seamless data flow and monitoring. 10. Estate & Labor Relations: Address estate-related issues and liaise with local administration and labour unions to resolve conflicts. 11. Performance Monitoring: Prepare and review monthly/quarterly performance dashboards, identifying areas for improvement. 12. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address deviations. 13. Training & Development: Organize inbound and outbound training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge. 14. Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to motivate teams and ensure timely, quality delivery to clients. Qualifications Desired Qualifications & Experience: - β€’ Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Energy specialization. MBA is a plus. β€’ Professional Experience: Minimum 18–20 years in EPC project management, operations, and facility management within the solar energy sector. β€’ Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading large teams and managing complex projects. β€’ Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of solar power plant design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. β€’ Project Management: Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for large-scale projects. β€’ Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local regulations and compliance standards in the solar energy industry. Preferred Attributes: - β€’ Industry Experience: Background in solar energy, renewable energy, or related sectors. β€’ Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and software. β€’ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities. β€’ Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
