Who You Are ?

We are seeking an experienced and agile People Business Partner to join our India PeopleTeam. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment andis motivated to influence culture, capability, and business outcomes through people-centricstrategies. You’ll be a strategic advisor to business leaders and a trusted advocate foremployees- balancing empathy with execution, and short-term needs with long-termdevelopment. Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Talent Strategy
  • Act as a strategic partner to leaders across functions on all people matters.
  • Influence and enable business decisions through data-driven talent insights.
  • Be a steward of Ontic’s culture, values, and leadership principles

Talent Development & Organizational Growth

  • Lead initiatives on role clarity, leveling, and career growth frameworks.
  • Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential development.
  • Strengthen manager capability through toolkits, coaching, and learning programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Collaborate on equitable and market-aligned compensation strategies.
  • Analyze internal equity and market data to inform pay and benefit decisions.
  • Communicate C&B changes with clarity, empathy, and consistency.

Performance & Capability Building

  • Drive performance enablement through regular feedback and coaching culture.
  • Manage the performance cycle, including goal setting, reviews, and development
planning.
  • Partner with leaders to address performance concerns and nurture potential.

Culture, Engagement & Inclusion

  • Co-lead employee listening efforts through surveys and engagement check-ins.
  • Plan and execute meaningful engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Promote inclusion and belonging through policy, awareness, and role modeling.

HR Operations, Compliance & Projects

  • Lead and refine HR policies that balance agility with compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and handle employment-related compliance.
  • Drive key HR projects—such as new systems, process improvements, and change
initiatives.

What You Bring

  • 9-12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in tech/SaaS or a scaling
organization.
  • Strong grounding in Indian employment laws, HR operations, and compliance.
  • Experience in career frameworks, performance management, and talent
development.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones in a global-first setup.
  • High ownership, curiosity, and a bias for action with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and people analytics tools, with the ability to convert data into
action.
