Title: Manager Product Marketing – CyberGRC
Job Location
Product Marketing Manager
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep domain knowledge in cybersecurity and GRC with strong product understanding, messaging skills, and a collaborative, execution-focused mindset. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Enablement, Customer Success, and Demand Generation to fuel product adoption, pipeline growth, and customer impact.
Key Responsibilities
Voice of Customer & Market Insight (including Analyst Reviews)
- Conduct ongoing
customer, prospect, and market research
to identify needs, pain points, trends, use cases, and opportunities. - Maintain detailed
buyer personas, competitive analyses, and customer journey maps
that drive segmentation and messaging decisions. - Integrate feedback from
analysts and regulatory trends
in the cybersecurity and risk landscape. Prepare and participate in analyst reviews (Forrester, Gartner, IDC, etc.)
Product Prioritization, Launch & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with Product Management to communicate roadmaps, prioritize features based on customer feedback, and align messaging with technical capabilities.
- Lead planning and execution of product launches, ensuring internal and external readiness.
- Track and report on the impact of product marketing activities, iterating strategies based on performance data.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Messaging
- Define and execute the
go-to-market strategy
for MetricStream’s CyberGRC products, collaborating closely with Product Marketing leadership, Product Management and global Marketing teams. - Own
product positioning, messaging
, and content strategies that communicate our differentiated value across industries and buyer types. - Translate product capabilities into customer-centric value propositions aligned to business challenges and use cases.
Sales Enablement & Strategic Support
- Create and maintain impactful
sales tools
including pitch decks, solution briefs, battlecards, use cases, and competitive intelligence. - Support the Enablement team in training field teams on messaging, product value, and objection handling.
- Serve as a
subject matter expert
in strategic deals and internal product briefings for cross-functional stakeholders.
Content & Campaign Development
- Collaborate with Demand Generation and Field Marketing teams to design
integrated campaigns
that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline. - Partner to create high-quality content including
webinars, case studies, blogs, white papers
, and email assets. - Ensure consistent messaging and voice across all customer touchpoints, reinforcing MetricStream’s AI-first leadership.
Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience in enterprise SaaS, ideally in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of
cyber risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, FAIR)
, enterprise security buyers, and global regulatory environments. - Demonstrated success in
customer feedback, product development
, go-to-market planning, positioning, enablement
, and cross-functional execution. - Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills. Able to translate complex concepts into business value.
- Experience working across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Gen teams to deliver measurable business impact.
Preferred Skills
- Background in
GRC or risk platform marketing
is strongly desired. Cyber experience preferred. - Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Comfortable using data to validate and refine messaging.
- Self-starter with excellent project management skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related discipline.
