Job Purpose:
- Controller for Marketing Sales and COGS, Gross Margins
- Business planning
- Performance & Compliance Reporting
Responsibilities
Sales, COGS and Gross Margin Controller:
- Custodian of Sales register, Reconciliation of Sales register, discounts, incentives, sales adjustments (dr/cr.) with revenue GLs and BI reports.
- COGS calculation and reco with COGS GLs.
- Customer wise profitability.
- Profitability of various arrangements with OMCs.
- Support for Margin analysis deep dive.
- Customer wise profitability for IB and OMC.
- NRV Calculation and inventory valuation.
- Tracking Freight cost, Feedstock cost, all kind of S&D expenses.
- Tracking and reporting of various GP factors including Stock loss, Norm losses etc.
- Scrutiny of COGS, Sales, Discount, Incentive etc.
- Volume and margin normalisation due to one off / abnormal event.
- Simulation of GP based on various what if scenarios of transfer prices/incentives.
Management Reporting:
- All kinds of Sales Realisation and Margin reporting to various stakeholders.
- Various Sales (Qty/Value/Margin) reports on granular level (Geographical / Customer wise / Channel wise / Period wise).
- Monthly review with business users (In-charge of Sales, Pricing, S&D, Feedstock procurement) to appraise them about trends and seeking clarifications on variances.
- Compliance Reporting.
Qualifications
Knowledge
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
CA/ CMACertification/Trainings in Advanced Excel / SAP / Power BI / Tableau (any)
Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years Of Experience
Minimum 4 years of total experience & at least 2 years of experience in FP&A profile.Minimum 2 years’ experience of using SAP FI and SD module is must.
