Role Overview

This role will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence across the US market. The role requires a strong understanding of software services, consultative selling, and the ability to align customer needs with the company’s technology capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Acquisition

  • Identify, qualify, and convert leads into revenue opportunities across US geography.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for targeted industry segments
  • Conduct market research to create account penetration plans and prospect lists.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with CXOs, VPs, and decision-makers in the US region.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client business challenges and propose appropriate software service solutions.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and collaborate with delivery teams for successful project execution.

3. Sales Planning & Pipeline Management

  • Own the sales funnel from lead generation to closure.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, business proposals, and account plans.
  • Track and report KPIs including pipeline health, deal velocity, and conversion metrics.

4. Collaboration & Solutioning

  • Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, practice heads, and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Participate in RFP/RFI responses, customer workshops, and capability demonstrations.
  • Align internal capabilities with market needs to create new solution offerings.

5. Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Stay updated on US market trends, competitor offerings, and digital transformation priorities.
  • Suggest strategic actions to strengthen company positioning in the region.


Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • 6–10 years of experience in business development, account acquisition, or sales in software services/IT services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing clients or pipelines in the

    US geography

    .
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing mid-to-large deals.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of software services such as custom development, cloud, data engineering, AI / ML, product engineering.
  • Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot) and sales analytics.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work in US time zones when required.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree + MBA
