The Role

• The Chief Purchase & Supply Chain Officer (CPSCO) will lead and shape the companys end-to-end supply chain and sourcing strategy across both Pharmaceutical (API & Intermediates) and Chemical (Dyes & Specialty) businesses.
• In the Pharma division, the role will focus on building the entire supply chain ecosystem from inception establishing global sourcing partnerships, reliable planning frameworks, and scalable processes.
• In the Dyes business, the mandate is to drive operational excellence, digital transformation, and cost leadership across established operations.
• The CPSCO will combine strategic vision with high execution energy, ensuring that procurement and supply chain become a true competitive advantage for the organization.
• A proactive and dynamic leader, this role calls for someone who can bridge long-term strategy with day-to-day agility, foster strong global relationships, and build a resilient, future-ready supply network.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated purchase and supply chain strategy across pharmaceutical APIs, intermediates, and Dyes businesses ensuring agility, compliance, and global competitiveness.
• Proactively develop and strengthen strategic relationships with global and domestic suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships and identifying new, reliable, and cost-effective vendors.
• Implement structured supplier performance evaluation, risk assessment, and sustainability practices to ensure consistent quality, compliance, and long-term reliability across the supply base.
• Align all procurement and logistics operations with cGMP, ICH, USFDA, EU, and environmental standards to ensure readiness for regulated markets.
• Partner with R&D and Projects teams to establish supply chains for new molecules, scale-ups, and technology transfers, accelerating commercialization.
• Ensure complete regulatory and import readiness by managing all licenses, approvals, and documentation, guaranteeing smooth, compliant, and uninterrupted supply of raw materials.
• Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to ensure demand visibility, material readiness, and smooth coordination between R&D, Production, Finance, and Commercial teams, while optimizing inventory levels, materials planning, and capacity utilization to maintain supply continuity and working capital efficiency.
• Handle international logistics, warehousing, and trade operations to enable seamless import-export management and on-time product availability.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across procurement, planning, and logistics by embedding ERP-driven visibility, analytics, automation, and robust performance management frameworks.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the company leadership, providing guidance on commercial decisions, risk management, and long-term business growth, and helping shape the organizations future as a trusted advisor.
• Represent the company at the highest level with global suppliers, regulators, and industry partners, strengthening relationships and advancing the companys strategic objectives.
