Job Description

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership• Oversee daily logistics operations — inbound/outbound shipments, dispatches, returns, and last-mile delivery management. • Coordinate with courier partners, warehouse teams, and client operations for smooth shipment flow. • Optimize delivery routes, resource allocation, and turnaround times to achieve operational SLAs. • Track and resolve NDR/RTO issues and implement preventive measures. • Maintain SOPs and ensure process adherence across operational workflows. Data & Analytics Management• Collect, clean, and analyze large operational datasets from CRM, courier APIs, and financial dashboards. • Develop MIS reports, dashboards, and performance trackers for leadership review. • Measure KPIs such as order volumes, courier performance, delivery success rate, TAT compliance, and cost per shipment. • Identify patterns, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities using data insights. • Automate key reports and visualizations using Excel, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau. • Present weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations. Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration• Partner with Technology, Finance, and Business Teams to implement process improvements. • Drive digitization and process automation across logistics operations. • Support management in forecasting demand, planning resources, and improving cost efficiency. • Train and mentor analysts or junior operations staff in data interpretation and reporting. Required Skills• Operational Expertise: Proven experience in managing courier or logistics operations. • Analytical Tools: Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot, macros, dashboards), SQL, and Power BI or Tableau. • Process Orientation: Strong understanding of logistics metrics (TAT, RTO, SLA, NDR, utilization). • Leadership: Team management, delegation, and cross-department coordination. • Communication: Strong reporting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Decision-Making: Ability to make data-informed decisions under time pressure.
