Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Legal Officer with 8 to 13 years of experience in the BFSI industry, specifically in Inclusive Banking - SBL, Mortgages, and Legal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and experience working with Equitas Small Finance Bank.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee legal matters related to mortgages and other financial products.
Provide legal support and guidance to internal stakeholders on various banking operations.
Conduct legal research and analysis to inform business decisions.
Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Ensure all legal documents and contracts are properly executed and stored.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with legal software and systems is an advantage.
