About the Role

Legal Officer

primarily back-office

The candidate May need to travel on short notices for any urgent court hearings or proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation & Arbitration Support

• Assist in preparing cases for 

  arbitration and corporate litigation

  .
• Coordinate with external counsel, compile case facts, documents, and evidence.
• Attend hearings with senior lawyers/counsels when required for support.

Legal Drafting & Documentation

• Draft and review notices, replies, contracts, affidavits, representations, and legal correspondence.
• Prepare and vet NDAs, distribution agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Maintain and organize legal files, case bundles, and internal documentation.

Intellectual Property (IP) Management

• Manage company 

  patent and copyright

  -related matters including filings, renewals, oppositions, or infringement cases.
• Coordinate with IP attorneys for filings, compliance, and documentation.
• Maintain internal IP registers and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.

Corporate Compliance & Governance

• Monitor, interpret, and implement relevant regulatory and statutory obligations.
• Support internal teams with legal requirements related to operations, agreements, and business processes.
• Prepare internal legal policies, checklists, and compliance reports.

Internal Advisory & Coordination

• Provide legal opinions on operational or commercial matters.
• Collaborate with senior management and relevant departments to reduce legal risk.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, and external law firms wherever needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).

• 4–5 years

   of experience in corporate legal functions, litigation/arbitration support, or IP.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and legal research skills.
• Familiarity with commercial contracts, compliance frameworks, and litigation procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks responsibly.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
