.is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Gurgaon office.This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Legal Entity Controller

Description:

This role involves overseeing financial accounting operations, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will lead a team, drive process improvements, and support strategic financial initiatives.

We will count on you to:

Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IND AS
Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger management.
Drive financial reporting, analysis, and dashboard development for senior management.
Manage treasury functions, including cash flow assessments.
Oversee revenue recognition, receivables review, and related accounting activities, including handling bad debts and WIP calculations.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP for group reporting.
Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.
Manage tax compliance activities, including GST, income tax returns, transfer pricing, and advance tax.

What you need to have:

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit management, tax compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Proven expertise in managing month-end closures, entity controlling, and financial reporting.
Strong data management and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to challenge existing processes, simplify workflows, and leverage technology for operational efficiency.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with relevant tools and systems.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to influence in a matrix environment.
