.is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Gurgaon office.This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Legal Entity Controller
Description:
This role involves overseeing financial accounting operations, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will lead a team, drive process improvements, and support strategic financial initiatives.
We will count on you to:
- Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IND AS
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger management.
- Drive financial reporting, analysis, and dashboard development for senior management.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow assessments.
- Oversee revenue recognition, receivables review, and related accounting activities, including handling bad debts and WIP calculations.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP for group reporting.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Manage tax compliance activities, including GST, income tax returns, transfer pricing, and advance tax.
What you need to have:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit management, tax compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven expertise in managing month-end closures, entity controlling, and financial reporting.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to challenge existing processes, simplify workflows, and leverage technology for operational efficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with relevant tools and systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to influence in a matrix environment.
