To fuel all this, we have some exciting plans, and we are looking for someone in the capacity of a Legal Associate: About the Role As we scale rapidly, we’re expanding our legal function to support growing operational complexity, manage risk, and prepare for upcoming financing rounds. We’re looking for a Legal Associate who can go beyond legal execution - someone who understands the business, thinks strategically, and helps build legal as a function, not just a service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys program ownership, thrives in ambiguity, and brings a builder’s mindset to the table. Key Responsibilities Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, vendor and partnership contracts. Legal Program Management: Own and drive legal workflows, ensure process consistency, build internal documentation, and manage legal trackers and reporting. Business & Legal Strategy: Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Ops, HR) to align legal strategy with business goals. Due Diligence & Compliance: Support investment readiness by leading legal due diligence processes, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research and draft briefs, reports, and summaries to inform internal stakeholders and decision-making. CLM Enablement: Work closely on contract lifecycle management initiatives including contract abstraction, audit preparedness, and template development. Ad-Hoc Legal Projects: Support special legal initiatives across functions such as data protection, employment law, or IP protection as they arise. What We’re Looking For Educational Qualification: LLB or LLM from a recognized institution. Experience: 2–3 years of legal experience in a startup, in-house, or fast-paced corporate setting. Program Management Skills: Proven ability to manage legal projects end-to-end with minimal supervision. Startup Mindset: A strong business sense with an understanding of how startups operate, grow, and make decisions. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal teams.
