Job Title: Legal Analyst Location: Bengaluru YES, is offering a new opportunity for a Legal Analyst to join its Legal Team. The role is based in Bengaluru, India to support on commercial contracts and legal operations across Company. The role shall directly report to the Head of Legal & Compliance. The Legal Analyst will be responsible for working on wide range of Agreements, inflow, and outflow of legal matters. The Legal Analyst is required to be flexible and has the ability to work confidently with guidance from Head of Legal & Compliance as and when needed. The Legal Analyst will provide support for the day-to-day needs of the business in a professional, collaborative, and effective manner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drafting /Vetting /Negotiations of NDAs, CDAs, MOUs, Vendor contracts, variations agreements, customer contracts, collaboration agreements, distribution agreements, master service agreements, statement of works, indemnity, integrity pact, RFPs, Tenders, bonds, bank guarantees and software agreements etc., Maintain docket (inflow of works), ensure statistics is upto date, upkeep of trademark and patent tracker, management information system (MIS) on day-to-day basis etc., Liaise with internal stakeholders (sales, procurement, HR, finance) to ensure alignment of contract terms with business requirements. Ensure legal compliance with Indian laws and applicable international regulations. Maintain a contract management system and ensure timely renewal, compliance tracking, and storage of executed contracts. Support audits, due diligence, and risk management processes related to contracts. Provide legal advice and risk assessments on contractual obligations and business decisions. Monitor changes in contract law and applicable regulations and update internal processes accordingly. Maintain knowledge of all new changes in the law, analyze implications and suggest a manner of implementation. Assist in compliance with Companies Act 2013 and liaison with external consultants on monitoring compliance calendar and documentation. Assisting Head of Legal & Compliance in day-to-day legal matters and projects. Ad-hoc projects assistance to the Legal Department. Assist in optimizing regional legal processes and operation. Deliver timely, high-quality work on all the assigned matters within deadlines and organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems. Monitor company’s patent and trademark portfolios, including filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement. Qualifications and Experience: LL.B or equivalent law degree from a recognized university. CS qualification is a plus. 5–6 years of relevant experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in a tech company, startup, MNC, or legal firm with corporate clients. Strong understanding of global contract law, IP, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, DPDP), Indian Corporate Law and commercial transactions. Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation skills. High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to handle multiple contracts/projects simultaneously with a solution-oriented approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office, contract management tools (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM), and legal research platforms. Proactive, business-savvy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
