Involvement in product development cycle, from new concept generation, concept evaluation and feasibility study, detailed design (part and module), prototyping and testing until industrialization Assist in developing device assembly strategies, methods, and associated processes Take part in developing, applying and improving the competencies in the field of thermal heat management, steam generation and fluid flow control Lead effort in failure analysis and developing solution in support of manufacturing & quality improvement of products Close coordination with project team and suppliers for successful completion of the project. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience Bachelors/Master’s in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering 5+ years of work experience in the area of product engineering design/development and transfer to manufacturing (preferably for high volume/mass-produced devices) Knowledge with common industrial metals, as well as experience in metal fabrication & forming processes (e.g. CNC machining, sheet metal deep-drawing, aluminum die-casting) Experience in thermal (heat) management system design Experience in 2D/3D CAD Modelling and Design (e.g. NX-Siemens, SolidWorks) Experience in the following areas will be added advantage: Electro-solenoid pump and valve components Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Methodology Thermal-Fluid Finite Element simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS, FLUENT) Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g. PTC Windchill) Desired Attitude/Attributes: Strong analytical & conceptual thinking, along with a systematic approach towards problem solving Ability to work in a team-based environment together with other disciplines (e.g. Electrical & Electronics, QA, Procurement etc.) Good communication skills and time management Hands-on approach, Pro-activeness in problem-solving & Willingness to learn In return, we offer you A meaningful career, with new challenges in our dynamic organization, working in an encouraging multinational and multicultural environment.
