Job Overview As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by equipping employees with essential skills for personal and professional growth. Role and Responsibilities Training Design and Delivery: Develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on behavioral skills such as communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence. Needs Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify skill gaps and tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of individuals or teams. Performance Improvement: Work with employees to identify areas for improvement and provide strategies to enhance performance through behavioral change. Feedback and Evaluation: Collect and analyze feedback from participants to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments. Collaboration: Partner with HR business partners, management, and other stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational goals and culture. Content Development: Create engaging training materials, including presentations, case studies, and exercises, to support learning objectives. Mentorship: Mentor junior trainers and provide guidance on best practices in behavioral training. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, research, and methodologies in behavioral training to ensure programs remain relevant and effective. Key Skills and Competencies Expertise in Behavioral Training: Deep understanding of behavioral theories and their application in professional settings. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts. Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport and trust with diverse groups of individuals. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust training approaches based on participant needs and feedback. Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges and develop creative solutions to enhance learning outcomes. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Advanced Excel, e-learning platforms, and tools for delivering virtual training sessions. Understanding of the technology landscape is an added advantage. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in behavioral training or a related field. Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field; with an MBA in HR from a premier institute. A strong academic track record is preferred.
