Role & responsibilities :

L&D Specialist

Role Vision & Impact

The Capability Building vertical, under the People Building wing, aims to develop leaders through smart-hiring, structured-grooming, and challenging-assignments. By driving these initiatives, this role contributes directly to making the organization a 'Great Place to Work' where value is created for employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

This specialist will be responsible for developing and executing learning strategies and interventions across the entire organization.

A. Strategy & Program Design

  • Conduct

    needs analysis

    to identify key tasks and skills for the curriculum, followed by post-implementation evaluation using performance and business metrics.
  • Co-create and roll out

    Leadership, Functional, and Behavioral training initiatives

    .
  • Design learning interventions (journey & content) with a

    quantitative measure of success

    .
  • Support the

    Annual Talent Review

    process for identifying and developing high-potential employees and succession planning for critical positions.

B. Content & Delivery

  • Support in designing and developing learning programs, applying a basic understanding of

    adult learning principles and systematic instructional design

    .
  • Build internal learning content through strong research, conceptual knowledge, and stakeholder management.
  • Work with

    best-in-class external service providers

    and L&OD partners to deliver learning programs.
  • Manage learning programs across different domains: personal effectiveness, foundational technical/functional skills, and managerial skills.

C. Program Management & Evaluation

  • Manage effective formal and informal communication to drive awareness, adoption, and attendance of learning programs.
  • Gather and analyze the

    effectiveness of training interventions

    , including employee experience and business impact.

Functional Capabilities & Skills

  • Strong Conceptual Knowledge

    of effective Learning and Development methods and contemporary methodologies.
  • Awareness of various L&D delivery channels, such as

    digital modules, scenario-based learning, gamification, classroom training, and coaching

    .
  • Experience managing

    e-learning platforms and practices

    .
  • Proven ability to curate content for learning programs based on program outlines and objectives.
  • Essential Competencies:
    • Planning and Organising

    • Strong Project Management Capabilities

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities (one-on-one and group settings)
    • Presentation, PowerPoint, and Excel skills are essential
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires continuous innovation
