Lead Tester HealthProof is looking for a Senior Tester, who under the general supervision of the engineering and delivery lead, will work to deliver the implementation of a Health care ecosystem for our Health Plan clients. The Quality Analyst will work with the small to mid-size Health Plan Clients, third party vendors, and onshore and offshore Advalent associates to Plan, design, execute and report software tests and mentor a team of software testers. Candidate should have excellent functional, analytical and communication skills and ability to engage as part of a team working both physically together and virtually. You should be an excellent problem solver who is able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them. As a QA, this is your opportunity to:
- Create and execute detailed test plans from business requirements, functional specifications, agile stories and/or product requirements.
- Serves on project teams to coordinate and lead QA activities for programming and implementation projects
- Build and enhance automation framework using selenium-Java
- Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
- Prepare / review test plans.
- Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
- Execute tests (manual / automated).
- Report defects and assist in their understanding.
- Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
- Prepare and present test reports.
- Train, mentor and supervise junior software engineers.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of at least one programming/ scripting language
- Knowledge of at least one database management system
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Coordination and leadership skills
- Deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of implementing quality software solutions on time and on budget
- Experience in a Healthcare application and a managed care environment is preferred
