Job Description

Role Description

Role Proficiency:Ensuring adherence to test practices and process to improve test coverage

Outcomes:

Create Test Estimates and Schedules
Identify business processes conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage
Ensure adherence of processes and standards
Produce test results defect reports test logs and reports for evidence of testing
Publish RCA reports and preventive measures
Report progress of testing
Contribute for Revenue savings for client by suggesting alternate method
Quality of Deliverables

Test Script Creation and Execution Productivity
Defect Leakage Metrics (% of defect leaked % of UAT defects and % of Production defects)

Execution:

Participate in review walkthrough demo and obtain sign off by stakeholder for Test Design
Prepare Test summary report for modules/features

Requirements Management:

Analyse Prioritize Identify Gaps and create workflow diagrams based on Requirements/User stories

Test & Defect Management:

Conduct root cause and trend analysis of the defects

Test Planning:

Identify the test scenarios with understanding of systems interfaces and application
Identify end-to-end business critical scenarios with minimal support
Create/Review the test scenarios and prepare RTM

Additional Comments:

Candidate should possess strong automation skills and able to provide solutions

Strong knowledge on Automation testing using Selenium web driver and Protractor
Should have 5- 6 years of automation experience
Experience in automation estimations and different tools
Should have experience in CI/CD automation process and guide teams to follow CI/CD
Work with cross-functional team members from Development and QA
Coordinate testing project management by contributing task definitions and estimates for testing project plans and preparing progress reports for Quality Assurance management team
Knowledge of Web UI applications testing
Expertise of RESTful Webservices testing
Expertise of using of Test Management Tool, Bug Database and repository (e.g., GIT)
Lead in the definition and implementation of Quality Assurance processes and standards in collaboration with other Quality Assurance teams
Participate in reviews of development document deliverables such as requirements, functional designs, technical designs, functional test scripts written by other Quality Assurance team members
Perform project tasks and solve problems with little or no assistance and guidance
Operate both independently and as part of a team, typically as the primary Quality Assurance contact for other Applications Development project team members
Serve as a mentor for one or more lower level staff
Passionate for continuous learning, experimenting and applying cutting edge technology and software paradigms
Expertise of Performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage
