About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead – Finance Associate with around 10 years of experience to drive financial planning, revenue intelligence, and profitability in our fast-scaling SaaS business. This role is pivotal in ensuring predictable revenue growth by identifying where money is coming in, how consistent it is, and where leakages or inefficiencies are occurring.

You will act as the finance partner to leadership, providing insights that directly influence growth, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Intelligence & Predictability
  • Develop and manage revenue intelligence frameworks to track recurring revenue, churn, upsell, and expansion trends.
  • Analyze subscription metrics (MRR, ARR, LTV, CAC, churn, ARPU) to forecast revenue with high accuracy.
  • Identify revenue leakages and propose corrective measures.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Own end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights for business leaders.
  • Build financial models to evaluate new initiatives, pricing strategies, and product profitability.
  • Process Optimization
  • Streamline billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition processes.
  • Ensure compliance with SaaS-specific accounting standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
  • Establish scalable financial processes aligned with company growth.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to align revenue reporting and insights.
  • Provide leadership with dashboards and reports that highlight key revenue trends and risks.
  • Drive cross-functional accountability for revenue outcomes.
  • Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering analytical thinking and business partnership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial strategy and growth levers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
  • ~10 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue models, and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to tell a story with numbers.
  • Experience with financial systems, BI tools, and revenue analytics platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without direct authority.

Why Join Us?

  • Be at the core of scaling a high-growth SaaS company through revenue intelligence.
  • Work directly with leadership to shape financial strategy and growth outcomes.
  • Opportunity to build systems and processes that enable predictable, sustainable revenue growth.
