Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow relationships with strategic clients. The KAM will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, design, execution, and service teams while identifying opportunities for repeat and additional business. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal, organizational, and business acumen skills, with prior experience in handling corporate, institutional, or government clients in AV, interiors, or technology-related sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned key clients.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand client requirements, project scope, and expectations for ongoing or upcoming work.
  • Coordinate internally with sales, design, estimation, project, and service teams to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Handle escalations, ensure issue resolution, and maintain proactive client communication.
  • Prepare and present account status reports, forecasts, and business growth plans.
  • Ensure timely billing, documentation, and post-project follow-up.
  • Track project performance against client KPIs and ensure compliance with SLAs.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, reviews, and negotiations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering (preferred if related to AV, interiors, or technology).
  • 4–6 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or business development, with at least 2 years managing key or strategic accounts.
  • Strong understanding of project execution workflows (AV, interiors, technology, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and MS Office Suite.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

  • Experience managing government or institutional clients.
  • Prior exposure to AV integration, interiors, or technology-driven project industries.
  • Understanding of tender-based client processes and procurement cycles.
