Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Finance & Accounts to lead the financial management and strategic fiscal planning of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in finance, taxation, audits, and compliance, with the ability to drive business growth through sound financial planning, governance, and leadership. This is a key leadership role requiring collaboration across departments to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and profitability.
Key Management & Reporting
- Oversee and manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations including payables, receivables, reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements in line with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and company policies.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and management summaries to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance tracking to identify cost optimization opportunities.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, corporate tax, and other statutory filings.
- Liaise with external consultants and tax authorities to ensure timely submission of returns and resolution of queries.
- Maintain updated knowledge of changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance regulations.
Audits & Internal Controls
- Lead and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits with external auditors and government bodies.
- Ensure adequate internal financial controls (IFC) and risk management mechanisms are in place.
- Review and improve accounting processes to strengthen governance and mitigate operational risks.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage banking operations, fund flow planning, and working capital requirements.
- Maintain effective relationships with financial institutions for credit facilities, loan management, and treasury operations.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, ensuring liquidity and effective utilization of funds.
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to define and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and operational excellence.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making on investments, risk assessment, and financial restructuring.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and & Skills
- Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) - preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 4 years in a managerial capacity within the consulting or professional services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, taxation, audits, Ind AS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle) and advanced MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
