The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 3 years of current sales experience, with a preference for experience in the technology and/or software sales industry. It is advantageous to have familiarity in collaborating with channel partners like resellers, distributors, and service providers. Proficiency in Advanced English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication. You should have the ability to establish and nurture relationships during face-to-face interactions with end users and partners. A comprehensive understanding of the IT landscape, products, services, and solutions is beneficial. Furthermore, you must be capable of grasping product and technical information and articulating it clearly to end users and partners. A high level of energy, motivation, and a proactive attitude are fundamental traits for this role. Desirable qualifications include a higher education degree in fields such as foreign languages, economics, IR, Information Technology, or related disciplines. Key requirements for this position encompass a strong knowledge of the IT industry, particularly in data protection, backup, and recovery. Previous experience in Outside Channel sales, preferably within the software or IT solutions sector, is vital. An extensive understanding of the Indonesian market, encompassing its culture, business practices, and local regulations, is crucial. You should possess exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated capabilities in recruiting, onboarding, and cultivating successful channel partners through face-to-face events such as lunch & learns and training sessions are essential. The ability to identify, develop, and acquire new end users through similar face-to-face events is also necessary. Proficiency in devising and implementing channel enablement programs and training initiatives is a key competency. You should be adept at providing sales and marketing support to channel partners, including activities like lead generation and joint marketing endeavors. A results-driven mindset with a proven history of meeting or surpassing sales targets is highly valued. Excellent face-to-face communication skills are crucial for this role, along with flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Willingness to travel within Indonesia to engage with channel partners, end users, and participate in industry events is required.
