Job Description

Role overview

We are looking for a proactive, target-driven Investor Outreach & Fundraising Associate to identify, approach and book meetings with investors (VCs, angels, family offices, healthcare-focused funds and HNIs). You will own the end-to-end outreach funnel: mapping investor targets, preparing outreach sequences, sending compelling emails/LinkedIn messages, qualifying leads and booking appointments for our Founder/Clinical Lead to meet. This is a high-impact role — part-time/contract or part-time-salaried options available.

Where you’ll focus (key responsibilities)

  • Research & map potential investors and strategic partners in the healthcare / health-tech / wellness / consumer health space across India (and select family offices/HNIs).
  • Build and maintain a prioritized investor prospect list (VCs, angel networks, syndicates, family offices, healthcare funds, accelerator programs).
  • Prepare and manage investor outreach campaigns (email + LinkedIn sequences + follow-ups) using CRM (HubSpot/Zoho/Pipedrive) or spreadsheets.
  • Draft concise, persuasive outreach copy & subject lines tailored to each investor segment.
  • Create/coordinate a polished investor package (one-pager, executive summary, and coordinate with team on the pitch deck). (You will not be expected to design, but to structure & collect inputs.)
  • Qualify investor interest via email/phone — capture key signals (check size, sector focus, investment stage, timeline, process).
  • Book, schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual meetings with the Founder/Clinical Lead; brief the Founder with concise meeting notes and investor profile.
  • Track pipeline metrics and report weekly progress against outreach and meeting targets.
  • Assist in preparing follow-up materials after meetings (data requests, term-sheet response templates).
  • Ensure confidentiality and appropriate NDAs for select investors where required.
  • Provide advice on fundraising timeline, typical term structures and basic company share/equity concepts (you do not need to be a lawyer but must understand term sheets, dilution, pre/post money basics).

Targets & KPIs (what success looks like)

  • Number of qualified investor introductions added to pipeline per week (example: 10–20).
  • Number of investor meetings booked per month (example: 4–8 qualified intro calls / meetings).
  • Conversion rate from outreach → qualified interest (benchmark: 3–8% depends on list quality).
  • Timely delivery of investor brief packs before each meeting (24–48 hrs).
  • Clean, up-to-date CRM pipeline and weekly progress report.

Required skills & experience (must-haves)

  • 2–6 years experience in finance, VC/PE operations, corporate development, investor relations, fundraising support, or business development in healthcare/consumer health (banking/PE/VC experience counts).
  • Excellent written and spoken English — proven ability to write crisp, persuasive emails and summaries.
  • Familiarity with Indian fundraising ecosystem: angel networks (e.g., Indian Angel Network), platforms (AngelList, LetsVenture), early-stage VCs, family offices and HNI outreach.
  • Good understanding of how Pvt Ltd companies work, basic cap-table and equity concepts, and term-sheet basics.
  • Comfortable working independently, target-oriented, and managing a pipeline.
  • Proficiency with CRM/Sheets and calendar scheduling tools (Calendly, Google Calendar).
  • Professional phone/Zoom etiquette and ability to brief senior leadership succinctly.

Preferred (nice-to-have)

  • Prior track record of booking investor meetings or helping raise seed/Pre-seed rounds.
  • Experience preparing or editing investor pitch decks & one-pagers.
  • Existing relationships with healthcare-focused investors, family offices or HNI networks in Delhi NCR / India.
  • Legal/financial literacy around term sheets, SAFE/Convertible notes, equity dilution.

Work model & compensation (LinkedIn-friendly options)

We are flexible — the role can be part-time (10–20 hours/week) or on a contract basis. Compensation structures we’re open to:

Option A — Part-time contractor (preferred by many early startups)

  • Retainer ₹15,000–40,000 / month (depending on experience) + success fee: 0.5%–2% of funds raised (negotiable) OR fixed per qualified meeting fee (e.g., ₹1,000–2,000 per confirmed investor meeting that fits profile).

Option B — Part-time salaried

  • Salary ₹25,000–50,000 / month (pro rata) + performance bonus tied to meetings/bookings and funds closed (to be defined).

Option C — Fixed contract (short campaign)

  • Fixed fee for a defined outreach campaign (e.g., 8–12 weeks) + bonus on successful lead closure.

(Please indicate your preferred structure when applying.)

Tools, deliverables & what you’ll own initially

  • Build a target list of 80–150 investors for seed-stage healthcare opportunities.
  • Deliver: outreach email templates, 1-pager and investor brief template, CRM pipeline, weekly report.
  • Coordinate and schedule face-to-face meetings in Delhi NCR.

Behavioral traits we value

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Persuasive writer — can craft short, compelling messages that get replies.
  • Calm under pressure; professional when interacting with senior investors.
  • Honest and discreet — you’ll handle confidential materials and introductions.

How to apply (LinkedIn / post-ready)

Please apply via LinkedIn with:

  1. Short cover note (2–3 lines) indicating preferred compensation structure (A/B/C above).
  2. CV (highlight fundraising / investor outreach / finance experience).
  3. 1 short sample outreach email you would send to a seed-stage healthcare VC to request an intro meeting (max 6–8 lines).
  4. If available, links to prior fundraising campaigns or references.
