Job Description

About Our Client:

Designation: Inventory Management Executive

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 1-2 year of experience

Qualification: Graduate in related field

About the role:

Responsibilities:

Monitor stock levels regularly to ensure sufficient availability without overstocking.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in ERP systems or inventory management software.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system data to identify discrepancies.
Ensure proper labelling, storage, and categorization of all inventory items.
Generate and analyse inventory reports including stock aging, turnover rates, reorder levels, and shrinkage.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory summaries for management review.
Assist in demand forecasting by analysing historical data, seasonal trends, and sales projections.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, sales, and finance teams to ensure inventory requirements are met.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding delivery schedules and inventory shortages or surpluses.
Assist in planning and execution of stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory valuation processes.
Identify and implement improvements in inventory management processes and controls.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements regarding inventory handling.
Support automation and digitization initiatives for inventory tracking and reporting.

Requirements:

Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Zoho Inventory).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, demand planning, and logistics operations.
