Interior Design Project Manager

Position: Interior Design Project Manager Location: Sector 67, Gurgaon Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Experience: 5–7 Years Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month About the Role: We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee full-cycle interior fit-out and design projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in interior design, architecture, or construction project management , and will be responsible for ensuring seamless project execution—on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and risk mitigation. Act as a central point of communication between clients, designers, contractors, and vendors. Lead project kick-offs and conduct regular alignment meetings across teams. Budget & Cost Management Create and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. Monitor expenses, approve purchases, and manage change orders. Maintain accurate documentation for financial control. Timeline Management Prepare detailed schedules using tools like MS Project Track project milestones, critical paths, and proactively resolve bottlenecks. Ensure timely delivery across all project stages. Team Leadership Lead cross-functional teams, clearly defining roles and responsibilities. Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and promote a culture of accountability. Drive collaboration across internal and external teams. Quality Assurance Ensure all work meets design intent, industry standards, and client expectations. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits. Quickly address any compliance or workmanship issues. Vendor & Subcontractor Management Source, negotiate, and manage vendor and subcontractor partnerships. Evaluate performance on quality, timelines, and budget adherence. Ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards. Requirements: 5–7 years of proven experience in interior fit-out project management. Strong knowledge of design and construction workflows. Proficient in MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD , and other project management tools. Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Strong budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities. Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design , or a related field preferred. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
