Job Description

Job Title: Inside Sales Executive – Sustainable Water Solutions



Overview


atmospheric water generation and renewable water technology


This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and technology, with the ability to build relationships and close sales through remote and digital channels.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

    Identify and qualify potential clients including hotels, corporates, industrial users, government agencies, and sustainability-driven organizations through calls, emails, and digital outreach.
  • Solution Selling:

    Understand customer requirements (capacity, power, and environmental conditions) and present tailored proposals for Akvo’s atmospheric water generators and water-as-a-service solutions.
  • Product Demonstrations:

    Deliver engaging presentations and virtual demos showcasing Akvo’s products such as the

    Akvo Water Block, Akvo Helios

    , highlighting key features like IoT-enabled monitoring and modular scalability.
  • Pipeline Management:

    Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM systems; track progress through the sales funnel and forecast accurately.
  • Commercial Discussions:

    Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and preliminary financial models (CAPEX vs. OPEX), and support negotiations to close deals.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the marketing, technical, and operations teams to align on client requirements, site feasibility, and after-sales planning.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Track market trends in sustainable water solutions, competitor offerings (including desalination and conventional bottled water suppliers), and government incentives for renewable water technologies.
  • Reporting:

    Provide regular updates on lead status, pipeline health, and revenue projections to the senior management team.



Requirements


  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    1–3 years in B2B inside sales, preferably in

    clean technology, water treatment, renewable energy, or industrial equipment

    sales.


Skills:

  • Strong communication and persuasive presentation abilities.
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn and explain Akvo’s products and IoT features.
  • Comfort with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot) and standard office software.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and manage complex B2B sales cycles.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for accurate forecasting.



Preferred Attributes


  • Experience dealing with

    hotels, corporates, municipalities, or government projects

    in the GCC or Indian markets.
  • Passion for

    sustainability, renewable energy, or water technologies

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and C-level decision-makers.
