Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our operations team at AKVO,

 Thirumudivakkam. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical

 and control systems in our Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) machines. The ideal candidate

 should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform installation, wiring, and commissioning of AWG machines and associated electrical systems.

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, control panels, relays, contactors, sensors, and motors

- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable system performance.

- Work with refrigeration, pump, and filtration systems to ensure integration with electrical components.

- Assist in testing, calibration, and inspection of equipment as per standard protocols.

- Maintain documentation of work orders, test reports, and maintenance logs.

- Follow safety standards, SOPs, and company guidelines during all operations.

- Support R&D; and project teams during system upgrades and new installations.

Requirements:

- Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).

- Experience: 2–5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician (experience in HVAC/Water

 Treatment/Industrial Machinery is a plus).

- Knowledge of three-phase power systems, relays, contactors, sensors, PLC basics, and control

 panels.

- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and single-line diagrams (SLD).

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Willingness to work on-site and travel occasionally for service requirements.

- Good teamwork, communication, and adherence to deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: 15,000 – 30,000 per month, based on skills and experience.
