Field Service Technician

Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician at Akvo Atmospheric Water Systems, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation, servicing, and maintenance of Akvo's water generation systems in Chennai and Bangalore. Reporting to the Project Manager or Project Head, you will play a crucial role in installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting the Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs). Key Responsibilities: - Installation & Commissioning - Assist in the installation and setup of Akvo's AWGs. - Ensure proper electrical and plumbing connections for smooth operation. - Test and calibrate the system post-installation for optimal performance. - Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent machine downtime. - Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs as required. - Identify and address minor refrigeration-related issues. - Customer Support & On-Site Assistance - Educate clients on machine operation and basic troubleshooting. - Act as the primary support contact for customer queries on system functionality. - Deliver timely and professional customer service to ensure satisfaction. - Reporting & Documentation - Maintain detailed service logs and maintenance records. - Report technical issues, spare part needs, and system performance to the Project Manager. - Assist in developing improved troubleshooting guidelines based on real-world challenges. - Spare Parts & Inventory Management - Ensure availability of essential spare parts and tools for on-site repairs. - Coordinate with the Project Manager for timely procurement of critical components. Qualifications Required: - Technical Skills - Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and minor refrigeration repairs. - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly. - Experience in operating and maintaining industrial or commercial equipment is desirable. - Proficiency in using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment. - Soft Skills - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. - Effective communication skills for professional customer interaction. - Capability to work independently and handle on-site challenges. - Readiness to travel between client locations within the assigned city. - Hands-on attitude and willingness to work in the field. Additional Details: Akvo Atmospheric Water Systems offers a salary range of 2.4-3.0 Lac Per Annum along with travel allowances for on-site visits.
