growing rapidly. It is one of the very few manufacturers of laminates and allied products in

Eastern India. InTim Laminates is committed to delivering innovative products and solutions

that cater to the unique needs of customers, architects, and interior designers, all of whom

play key roles in product specification.

Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in the B2B vertical and manage influencer and partner collaborations within the laminate industry. The ideal candidate will combine market knowledge, relationship-building skills, and strategic thinking to expand business opportunities, strengthen brand presence, and maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible for delivering Annual / Half Yearly / Quarterly / Monthly Sales, Targets of the allocated Accounts which typically would be Builders, OEMs, Educational

Institute Chains, Hotels/Restaurants Chains, Hospitals, Retail Chains , Banks, Large

Contractors, Commercial Establishments, Govt. Depts., etc.

1. Sales Target Achievement:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for assigned territories by driving business

deals with other companies.

  • Execute a strategic plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

2. Trade Mapping & Management:

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the assigned accounts, including existing and potential customer segments.
  • Expand the market presence by attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences, to generate leads.

3. Relationship Management:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in target businesses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade & influencers (if required) to maximize sales opportunities
  • Conduct regular visits to accounts, address their concerns, and ensure continuous business flow.
  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with clients, offering post-sale support and regular follow-ups.

4. Product Promotion & Brand Awareness:

  • Creating detailed proposal documents and delivering presentations.
  • Promote the company’s products through various networking events and industry conferences to generate leads also ensuring brand visibility in the market.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for Proprietary Document of M/s InTim Laminates P. Ltd Page 2 Influencers, decision-makers.

5. Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and business directories
  • Work closely with the marketing team to devise sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and incentive programmes
  • Leverage business intelligence and CRM tools to forecast demand and identify new business opportunities.

6. Order Management & Payments:

  • Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and payment collection from clients as per the company’s norms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, accounts) to manage the supply chain efficiently.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from clients

7. Sales Reporting:

  • May be required to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track progress and ensure alignment with sales objectives.
  • Provide insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities in his territory.
  • Use data-driven approaches & technologies, like SFA, CRM, etc. to improve sales effectiveness and decision-making.

8. Customer Service & Satisfaction:

  • Address and resolve customer queries, complaints, and feedback within the established TAT.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and maintaining product consistency.

Reporting:

Typically, to the Head of Influencer Mgmt. / Project Manager / Business Development

Manager. S/he may also have to directly or indirectly report to the Branch Sales Manager /

Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager / National Sales Manager depending on

Business requirements or as per the Management decision.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2-3 or more years of relevant experience in B2B Sales / Project

Sales, in Building Material Industry.

  • Go-getter attitude.
  • Target oriented.
  • Familiarity with the local/regional market dynamics and customer base would be preferred.
  • Should be self-driven and willing to work hard.
  • Good communication skills. Should know the local language and preferably

Hindi &/or English.

  • Good understanding of Retail & Channel selling skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Willing to travel locally regularly and upcountry.
  • Preferably should have a two-wheeler (along with a two-wheeler license) for local travel.
  • Should own a Smartphone & be reasonably tech-savvy.

Key Skills & Competencies:

1. Sales Skills:

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of the building material industry, products, and market dynamics.

2. Communication Skills:

  • Good verbal and preferably written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Ability to explain complex products and concepts in an easy-to understand manner.
  • Should be confident in the local language of the trade & also know either Hindi &/or English.

3. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to analyse basic sales data and market trends.
  • Proactive in resolving issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.

4. Relationship Management:

  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with the entire trade.

5. 5. Product Knowledge:

  • Moderate knowledge of building materials, particularly laminates, is preferred.

  • Ability to stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and competitive products.
  • Presenting the product/services in a professionally structured manner to clients

6. Tech Knowledge:

  • Preferably proficient in SFA & CRM software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for sales tracking and reporting.

Education:

Should possess a minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
