A Snapshot of Your Day As an Employee Relations Officer, you will be responsible for handling and improving the relationship between the organization and its employees. You will play a key role in leading compliance with labor laws, promoting a positive workplace environment and culture, and addressing high level employee concerns for SEITIPL & WP. Your expertise in industrial relations will help us navigate complex labor issues and champion a collaborative environment that aligns with Siemens Energy s values and objectives! The role-holder will be based at Ahmedabad ! How You ll Make an Impact Labor Relations Management: Create and maintain effective relationships with employee representatives, unions, and other collaborators to ensure smooth industrial relations including the third-party employees. Compliance and Policy Development: Support compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of company policies related to Industrial Relations. Ensure timely submission of required details to government authorities as per labor laws/practices across locations. Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve employee grievances and disputes in a timely and effective manner. Facilitate negotiations between management and employee representatives. Handle the HR case investigations: Investigate the HR cases for entire AP region including India i.e. SEITIPL & Wind Power Engineering center at Bangalore. Work with different HR BP within AP and guide them case to case basis on ER issues. Training and Development: Provide training and support to management and HR teams on employee and industrial relations standard processes, labor laws, and conflict resolution techniques. Reporting and Analysis: Assess and analyze industrial relations trends and issues. Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management to advise decision-making. What You Bring Master s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Labor Laws, IR or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) & LLB is a plus. Minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial relations, labor relations, or human resources, preferably in a manufacturing or energy sector environment. Solid knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations, as well as standard processes in industrial relations. Handling at least Internal Unions. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrable track record to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
