ITQ operates across three organizations: Global Applications, Capabilities COEs, and Shared Services Operations For more details about General Mills please visit this Link Purpose of the role As a Food Safety Quality (FSQ) Senior Executive in External Supply Chain (ESC), you will provide critical leadership to help us achieve our vision by supporting execution of regional and market strategies for India external supply chain locations to ensure the food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality of General Mills Products. The Senior Executive FSQ- ESC champions food safety, manages ESC sites, builds alignment and strategy with cross-functional partners, provides technical expertise, leads risk assessments and root cause analysis activities, and works with both internal and external partners to ensure the safety of General Mills products and processes. This role provides an opportunity for continued learning and development via independent leadership and cross functional team experiences. As an effective connector between GMI and our external partners in India, you will build and leverage your network across various GMI functions and externally across the food industry. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Foster Lead with Safety culture. Drive commercialization of new products by building effective relationships with external partners to identify and eliminate food safety, quality, and regulatory risk, and with internal stakeholders for supporting business growth and initiatives. Effectively onboard new ESC locations to assure compliance to GMI FSRM policy requirements through training, best practice sharing and use of CI tools. Lead continuous improvement efforts with our external partners to reduce risk, eliminate waste, and improve product quality. Lead the new product turnover process to assure capability to manufacture products as designed. Provide FSQ leadership and direction through technical mastery in the areas of food safety risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, SPC, system capability, and sanitation and champion material supplier food safety and regulatory compliance. Lead risk assessment and root cause analysis activities for issue resolution, building alignment and strategy with cross functional partners and utilizing Continuous Improvement tools to protect GMI brands. Partner with Sourcing Supply chain team to effectively manage ESC locations delivering Business needs. Drive GMI global ESC processes and implement global tools practices across ESC sites/Co-packers MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s/Master s degree in Food Science/Engineering/Technology or related scientific field 5+ years of related Quality, Food Safety experiences ( Flour Milling Industry experience is must have ) Ability to audit and travel ~40% of time as needed at Co-packer sites High agility - Ability to influence, manage projects and be comfortable with ambiguity Risk assessment skills, Risk management mitigation experience ADDITIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCES Provide technical leadership to internal and external teams Self-starter who has the ability to prioritize workload while meeting commitments. For more details about the Function please visit this Link Purpose of the role Role is to work in India Accounts Payable process and responsibilities require functional expertise in finance and accounting, communication skills, and ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include accurately auditing invoices as per checklist and process them as per guidelines and compliance within agreed SLA . Assist Team lead in AP audit with both internal and external auditors. Proactively question, recommend, influence and lead process changes to enhance team / process efficiency. Ensure payments are batched in the bank portal as per the due date. Drive business meetings with various stakeholders . KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- 70% of the time: Audit and process invoices in GMI accounting system Process various types of invoices such as PO, Non-PO, Freight and ensure that appropriate tax (TDS, GST) has been applied and transactions comply with financial policies and procedures. Ensure accurate audit as per checklist before invoice processing. Adhere to set timelines and maintain accuracy. Address queries from downstream processes and stakeholders on timely basis. Ensure proper control on invoices on hold and reminder email sent. Ensure emails received are promptly replied. Perform the day- to -day processing of accounts payable transactions in an effective, up to date and accurate manner. Develop strong relationships with business partners. 20% of the Time Ensure timely preparation of business reports and sharing same with business. Prepare KPI Report and Hold Report. Obtaining Quarterly vendor balance confirmation certificate from vendors. Sending Quarterly TDS certificates to vendors. Monthly preparation of GL schedules and uploading on blackline. Ensure clear process documentation is in place, utilized and updated on timely manner. Help develop clear standardized processes. Leverage CI mindset to identify and implement process improvements and practices within the process. 10% of the Time: Control on Scan/ Physical documents- Record Retention- Ensure invoice tracker and other trackers are updated daily. Ensure invoices received, processed and kept on hold are filed correctly. Co-ordinate with binder and ensure that invoices/ documents are bounded periodically. Ensure that the bound files are sent to Recall facility. Co-ordinate with Recall/ Binder for retrieval of documents. Actively participate in team or site events/ initiatives. Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Financial Acumen- Has worked on Indian Accounting Process has knowledge of India tax laws (TDS/GST). Effective Communication - Clearly articulates views in written and verbal discussions. Good English skills are a must. Ability to deliver outstanding results Completes tasks, activities in a timely and effective manner. Provides ideas and input to help team achieve greater result.
