J&J IM Principal Operations is a global organization located in USA, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Singapore, and Switzerland. Within J&J IM Principal Operations, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Innovative Medicine business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with J&J Innovative Medicine Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury. Currently we are looking for “IMPO UAM Authorization Senior Analyst” to join the J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations organization in “ Bengaluru, India Role Purpose: The purpose of the role is charged with fortifying user access security and compliance across global SAP S4 systems, while driving strategic UAM initiatives to support organizational growth and technological for business adaptation purposes. In addition, this role will act as the lead for the UAM HUB team in India , responsible for coordinating delivery, performance, and collaboration across a geographically dispersed team . The lead is encouraged to operate primarily from the Bangalore location , providing day-to-day direction and mentorship to team members working remotely across India, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with global standards. J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend is a global, multi-year end-to-end business transformation program sought at modernizing foundational business processes through the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA. This program focuses on core functionalities related to SAP Manufacturing, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Finance processes. The IMUAM team plays a crucial role in ensuring security requirements are crafted and implemented compliantly within this program. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the UAM HUB team operations from the Bangalore location, ensuring consistent delivery across geographically dispersed team members. Drive security workshops to collect business and compliance requirements for role design, ensuring validation post-build for S4 HANA Roles and Authorization. Develop UAM strategies focusing on composite roles, Fiori tiles, business roles/user personas, and data security/UI masking concepts for S/4HANA. Perform data validation, conduct health checks, and provide compliance documentation. Design, test, and implement rule sets for SAP S/4HANA role design. Support role data and user account setup, offering advice on role design testing and coordinating business UAT activities. Manage authorization defects and support user cutover and Hypercare activities. Collaborate with the Business Adaptation team on training, communication, and ensuring site readiness. Facilitate the progress between project phases and operational teams for sustained support. Ensure compliance with internal and external standards through regular SAP security assessments and audits. Troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated SAP security issues, maintaining a secure SAP environment. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to SAP security policies, procedures, and configurations. Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members and supervise team KPIs, efficiency metrics, and delivery dashboards. Promote teamwork, handle performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Experience and Skills: Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for studies in Risk Management, Compliance, or Audit. 10–12 years of experience in UAM, particularly within enterprise risk management frameworks, with 3–5 years in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated expertise in SAP GRC Access Control and Identity Management tools. Hands-on experience with end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, including Fiori app security. Deep knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, SoD mitigation, and remediation strategies. Experience with risk matrix/rule set maintenance, data analysis, conversion, and migration. Demonstrable ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams operating remotely across India, driving accountability and delivery alignment. Solid project management capabilities and team member engagement skills across functional and regional teams. Proficiency in English, with outstanding oral and written communication abilities. Excellent teammate with a customer service orientation, documentation savvy, and policy enforcement experience. Strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and conflict resolution capabilities. Willingness and ability to work from the Bangalore office as the primary location for team operations. Ability to define, track, and report on delivery metrics, team KPIs, and efficiency dashboards to support continuous improvement and operational excellence. Preferred: Understanding of business functions and how systems and applications are used by business partners. Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or related industries. Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementation projects. Experience in a PMO role, managing activities across functional workstreams. Experience working in a hub-and-spoke delivery model. Demonstrated leadership in driving distributed teams, performance management, and team mentor. Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, MS Teams and other collaboration platforms. Other Requirements: Ability to work on-site a minimum of three days per week, with up to two remote workdays per the flexible work policy. May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
