Job Description

Job Summary:

As an HR Executive in the air catering industry, you will be responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with aviation and food safety regulations, and supporting operational efficiency through strategic HR practices. You will play a key role in recruitment, employee engagement, labor relations, and policy implementation tailored to the fast-paced and regulated environment of airline catering.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for kitchen staff, logistics, and support roles.
  • Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with aviation security standards.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive work culture across shifts and departments.
  • Address grievances and resolve conflicts, especially in unionized environments.
  • Organize employee engagement activities to boost morale and retention.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, food safety regulations, and aviation standards.
  • Maintain and update HR policies in line with industry best practices.
  • Support audits and inspections related to HR and safety compliance.

Performance & Training

  • Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and feedback sessions.
  • Identify training needs and organize skill development programs (e.g., hygiene, safety, customer service).
  • Track employee progress and maintain training records.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Collaborate with finance to process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Manage employee benefits, attendance, and leave records.
  • Handle wage settlements and disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, catering, or aviation.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, shift-based environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • MBA/equivalent post graduation in Human Resources.
  • Graduation is hospitality will be advantage
