Job Description

As a Talent Manager at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), you will be part of a dynamic team in an organization that has experienced significant growth over the past 15 years and is rapidly expanding. This role offers a challenging work environment coupled with long-term stability. To excel in this role, you should have 8-10 years of experience in Talent Management or HRBP roles, along with a Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. Your responsibilities will include managing diverse talent pools comprising faculty from top global institutes and administrative staff. Key Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience in managing employee life-cycle processes such as confirmation, transfers, performance management, and exits. - Proficiency in using HRMS platforms like Darwinbox or equivalent. - Ability to handle grievances, disciplinary processes, and ensure compliance. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Uphold high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. - Skilled in managing multiple stakeholders and resolving issues with fairness and empathy. Desirable Skills: - Exposure to succession planning or internal mobility frameworks. - Experience in driving process improvements in HR operations. - Familiarity with policy interpretation and internal audit readiness. - Comfortable working in higher education or large knowledge-based institutions. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of employee life-cycle management from onboarding to separation. - Ensure timely execution of key milestones like confirmation, performance evaluation, transfers, role changes, etc. - Act as the primary HR contact for academic and administrative departments on employee-related matters. - Collaborate with departments to maintain accurate employee records in the HRMS while ensuring compliance. - Lead HR initiatives such as performance management, grievance redressal, and succession planning. - Foster an inclusive and ethical work culture by promoting employee engagement and adherence to institutional values. - Support HR system implementation and process automation for data-driven decision-making and service efficiency.,
