Job Description: Assistant HR Company: Unilex Colours and Chemicals Ltd Position: Assistant HR Location: Malad West, Chincholi Bunder Road. Employment Type: Full-time Role Type: Individual Contributor Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant HR to support and manage various HR functions independently. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, statutory compliance support, and documentation while ensuring smooth HR processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Onboarding • Manage end-to-end recruitment for various departments. • Coordinate job postings, sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews. • Conduct HR rounds and finalize selected candidates. • Handle offer letters, appointment letters, and onboarding documentation. • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure smooth joining formalities. 2. HR Operations • Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases. • Prepare HR letters: confirmation, salary revision, experience, relieving, warning, etc. • Handle HRMS entries, attendance corrections, and leave management. • Track probation periods, confirmations, and contract renewals. 3. Payroll Support • Compile monthly attendance and leave data for payroll processing. • Support salary inputs, deductions, and reimbursements. • Coordinate with accounts and management for payroll-related queries. 4. Employee Engagement & Welfare • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations. • Address employee queries and support grievance handling. • Conduct regular employee connect sessions. 5. Compliance & Documentation • Support HR compliance activities such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc. • Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely submission of documents. • Coordinate with external consultants for compliance-related tasks. 6. Exit Management • Handle resignation process, exit interviews, clearance forms, and full & final formalities. • Issue experience and relieving letters. Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Management, or related field. • 1–3 years of HR experience (preferred in manufacturing/chemical industry). • Strong understanding of HR operations, recruitment, and HR documentation. • Good knowledge of MS Excel, HRMS, and HR tools. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to handle responsibilities independently with attention to detail.
