Primary Title: Human Resources Manager (Remote)

About The Opportunity

We are hiring for a leadership HR role within the Technology & Software Development sector, supporting a fast-moving, remote-first engineering and product organization serving B2B customers. This role is fully remote across India and focuses on scaling people processes, embedding high-performance culture, and ensuring statutory compliance for a distributed workforce.Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end HR operations for India: recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and HRIS upkeep for a remote workforce.
  • Own talent acquisition strategy: source senior and mid-level engineering, product, and support hires; manage ATS workflows and deliver hiring metrics.
  • Drive employee lifecycle programs: performance reviews, goal-setting cycles, career-pathing, and succession planning to improve retention and engagement.
  • Advise leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, and policy implementation aligned to business priorities.
  • Serve as primary employee relations contact: resolve grievances, coach managers on people issues, and maintain a consistent, legally-compliant approach.
  • Implement learning & development initiatives and HR analytics—produce dashboards and actionable insights to improve people outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with 2+ years in a managerial role, preferably in Technology or SaaS companies.
  • Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment, ATS/HRIS administration, and remote hiring best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, professional tax), and payroll coordination.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and written/verbal communication skills for a distributed team.

Preferred

  • Exposure to data-driven HR (people analytics), performance management systems, and L&D program design.
  • Experience scaling HR for high-growth startups, familiarity with compensation benchmarking and equity plans.
