Roles and Responsibilities Position Title : HR Business Partner (HRBP) Location : Kochi, Kerala / Technovalley Regional Offices (as applicable) Department : Human Resources Reports To : Head Human Resources / Director – Operations About Technovalley Technovalley is a global high-technology IT consulting company and the undisputed leader in technology certification, consulting, and upskilling. Role Summary As an HR Business Partner at Technovalley, you will act as a strategic advisor and operational enabler to the leadership and departmental heads. You will drive HR strategies aligned with business goals, while also managing core HR responsibilities such as talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to understand business needs and provide HR solutions that support organizational objectives. Collaborate with department heads on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning. Actively support employee lifecycle processes – from onboarding to exit. Lead performance management cycles, including appraisals, feedback mechanisms, and continuous performance improvement. Drive employee engagement, team-building activities, and cultural initiatives. Resolve employee relations issues with a fair, objective, and legally compliant approach. Work closely with the Learning & Development team to identify skill gaps and support employee upskilling/reskilling. Ensure HR policies are communicated effectively and are in compliance with labor laws. Analyze HR metrics (attrition, engagement, performance, etc.) and recommend improvements. Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and team leads on people matters. Coordinate HR activities for Technovalley’s subsidiaries in India and abroad, including Technovalley Africa. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA in HR preferred. 5–8 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist in IT/EdTech/Consulting organizations. Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve complex employee issues. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with global HR practices is a plus, especially in African markets. Added Advantage Prior experience working with academic institutions, education management organizations, or training providers. Understanding of faculty and student engagement processes, academic HR operations, and educational compliance will be a strong plus.
