Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

Partner with Sales leaders to align HR strategy with business goals and revenue targets
Provide data-driven insights on manpower planning, productivity, attrition, and performance
Support organizational design, role clarity, and sales structure effectiveness

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Work with Talent Acquisition teams to drive timely hiring for frontline sales, key accounts, and leadership roles
Forecast manpower needs based on business expansion, seasonality, and productivity metrics
Ensure strong onboarding and rapid assimilation of new sales hires

Performance Management & Rewards

Drive goal setting, performance reviews, and incentive plan rollouts for Sales teams
Partner with Sales leadership on sales incentive structures, commissions, and variable pay governance
Support performance improvement plans and high-potential identification

Employee Engagement & Retention

Act as the first point of contact for Sales employees on HR matters
Drive engagement initiatives for frontline and field sales teams
Analyze attrition trends and implement retention strategies

Employee Relations & Compliance

Manage employee relations cases, grievances, and disciplinary actions within Sales teams
Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory compliance, and company HR policies
Support audits and documentation related to sales workforce

Learning & Capability Development

Identify capability gaps and work with L&D teams to deploy sales training programs
Support leadership development initiatives for Sales managers and regional heads

Change Management

Support business changes such as new product launches, territory restructuring, mergers, or expansions
Drive communication and adoption of HR initiatives within Sales teams
