About The Opportunity

Join a dynamic onsite HR team responsible for day-to-day HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and compliance. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in an operational HR capacity and wants to shape employee experience across a growing India workforce.Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities: onboarding documentation, induction coordination, probation tracking, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and update HRIS data (attendance, leave, personal records) and produce regular HR reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and attendance records with payroll vendor/partners to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
  • Support recruitment operations: screen resumes, schedule interviews, prepare offer letters, and coordinate background checks and joining formalities.
  • Administer employee benefits, leaves, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS) and support audits and statutory filings.
  • Serve as first point of contact for employee queries; resolve routine issues and escalate complex employee relations or policy matters to HR leadership.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • 1–3 years of hands-on HR operations experience in India (on-site roles preferred).
  • Proficiency with HRIS and HR operations tools (GreytHR, Zoho People or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Practical knowledge of Indian statutory compliance: PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS.
  • Experience coordinating payroll inputs and maintaining attendance/leave systems.
  • Experience supporting recruitment workflows, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and strong documentation and stakeholder-management abilities.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Zoho Recruit) or recruitment tools.
  • HR certification or diploma (SHRM Foundation/SHRM-CP/CIPD or similar).
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced tech or startup environment with high-volume hiring.
