Job Title: HR Specialist

Department: Human Resources

Location: Connaught Place, New Delhi

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and organized *HR Specialist* to join our team and take ownership of key HR functions, with a strong emphasis on *recruitment* and *performance management*. This role will help shape a high-performing workforce by attracting top talent, ensuring smooth onboarding, and driving performance excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

* Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and hiring strategies.

* Source candidates using a variety of platforms (job boards, social media, internal referrals, etc.).

* Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates.

* Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

* Manage the offer process, reference checks, and employment documentation.

* Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.

* Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, etc.) for continuous improvement.

Performance Management

* Support the end-to-end performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.

* Educate employees and managers on the performance management process and tools.

* Assist in the design and rollout of performance improvement plans (PIPs) where required.

* Collect and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

* Work closely with managers to ensure fair and consistent evaluation practices.

* Contribute to employee recognition and reward initiatives aligned with performance outcomes.

Other HR Responsibilities

* Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

* Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity.

* Support policy development, HR compliance, and audits.

* Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, benefits, and conflict resolution.

* Participate in employee engagement, training, and development programs.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

* 2+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on recruitment and performance management.

* Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and MS Office.

* Sound knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

* HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.

* Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth industry (e.g., tech, FMCG, manufacturing).

* Familiarity with modern performance management systems (e.g., OKRs, 360-degree feedback).

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
