Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of HR to lead and manage the Human Resources function in a hospital environment. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of recruitment, talent management, compliance, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR operations to ensure a high-performance, patient-focused, and compliant workplace culture.
Roles & Responsibilites:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
· Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with the hospital’s goals and regulatory requirements.
· Lead and mentor the HR team across all units (recruitment, payroll, compliance, training, etc.).
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
· Oversee end-to-end recruitment for clinical, paramedical, administrative, and support staff.
· Conduct manpower planning in coordination with department heads to maintain optimal staffing.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
· Ensure a healthy employee relations environment by addressing grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters.
· Design and execute employee engagement programs to boost morale, retention, and performance.
4. Performance Management
· Implement structured performance appraisal systems (e.g., KPI-based evaluations).
· Provide support to department heads in identifying underperformance and improvement plans.
5. Training & Development
· Develop training calendars, workshops, and CME (Continuing Medical Education) in partnership with clinical heads.
· Monitor compliance with mandatory training (fire safety, biomedical waste, patient care, etc.).
6. HR Operations & Compliance
· Ensure timely processing of payroll, attendance, leave, and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
· Maintain employee records in compliance with labour laws and hospital accreditation bodies (e.g., NABH, JCI).
· Prepare HR reports, analytics, and dashboards for management.
7. Policy Formulation & Audit
· Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
· Assist in internal and external audits related to HR practices (e.g., NABH documentation, statutory audits).
Skills Required:
· Deep knowledge of labour laws, hospital HR practices, and healthcare workforce norms.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
· Proficiency in HRMS software and MS Office tools.
· Exposure to NABH/JCI accreditation processes preferred.
Work Schedule:
· Full-time, 6 days a week
· On-call availability during critical HR events or audits
Qualification:
· MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institute.
· 2-3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a hospital/healthcare setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
