HR Executive

Job Summary:

The HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, and HR administration in a manufacturing setup. The role requires hands-on experience in factory HR practices and labor law compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Handling end-to-end recruitment for shop-floor and staff-level positions
  • Coordinating with department heads for manpower requirements
  • Screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and issuing offer/appointment letters
  • Managing vendor and consultant coordination

Employee Onboarding & Documentation

  • Managing joining formalities and employee documentation
  • Maintaining personal files, records, and HRMIS updates
  • Conducting induction programs for new employees

Attendance, Leave & Payroll Support

  • Monitoring attendance, shift schedules, and overtime records
  • Managing leave records and employee attendance systems
  • Coordinating payroll inputs with accounts/payroll team

Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws

  • Ensuring compliance with PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, CL, SL, and other statutory requirements
  • Maintaining statutory registers and records
  • Coordinating inspections and audits (Factory Inspector, Labor Department, etc.)
  • Supporting contract labor compliance and contractor documentation

Employee Relations & Factory HR

  • Handling employee grievances and disciplinary procedures
  • Supporting smooth industrial relations on the shop floor
  • Coordinating with supervisors and line managers for workforce issues
  • Assisting in union-related matters if applicable

HR Operations & Administration

  • Implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Managing exit formalities and full & final settlements
  • Preparing HR reports (attendance, attrition, headcount, etc.)
  • Supporting audits and compliance reviews

Training & Development Support

  • Coordinating training programs for employees
  • Maintaining training records and attendance

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of labor laws and factory HR practices
  • Experience in manufacturing / plant HR operations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and documentation
  • Ability to handle shop-floor workforce effectively

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 2-4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to statutory compliance and factory HR
  • Comfortable working in shifts if required
