HR & Business Development Executive

Company:

ATI Global Textiles – A leading fabric solutions company dealing in shirting, suiting, and ready-made garments, working with over 200+ factories across India and expanding globally.

Location:

Old Washermenpet, Chennai (Head Office)

Travel required occasionally for expos, campus drives, and client meetings.

Salary:

₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month + Performance Incentives

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR):

• End-to-end recruitment – preparing JDs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.

• Maintain attendance records, leave management, and employee documentation.

• Plan and execute appraisal cycles, employee engagement activities, and team bonding sessions.

• Handle internal grievances, ensure discipline, and maintain a healthy work environment.

• Conduct induction and training programs – especially on textile basics for non-technical staff.

Business Development:

• Identify potential clients in domestic and export markets – retail stores, exporters, brands, and designers.

• Coordinate with the sales and sampling teams to ensure timely sample dispatch and client servicing.

• Manage and follow up on leads from IndiaMART, exhibitions, and digital ads.

• Send professional proposals, emails, and order updates in English and Hindi.

• Build strong relationships with buyers and distributors in Tamil Nadu and North India.

Textile Knowledge & Client Communication:

• Have a clear understanding of fabric types, blends, finishes, and applications.

• Confidently explain product features in Tamil to local clients, in Hindi to outstation buyers, and in English for global communication.

• Support the team during expos like Textile Vision Expo, booking conferences, and client demos.

• Translate and present product details fluently across all three languages based on the client’s comfort.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in HR, Business, Textile Technology, or Management)

• 2+ years of experience in HR and/or Business Development roles

• Fluency in Tamil, Hindi, and English – written and spoken

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Basic textile knowledge (fibers, fabrics, processes, trends) is a must

• Proficient in Google Sheets, Gmail, WhatsApp Business, and basic CRM tools
