The Sales Director will be responsible for defining and executing the organization's sales strategy, leading and developing a high-performing sales team, and delivering ambitious revenue growth. This role works closely with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success—to ensure sales initiatives align with broader business objectives. The focus will be on driving new client acquisition, strengthening customer retention, and expanding into global markets through a structured, data-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with overall business goals and revenue targets.
- Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification through deal closure and ongoing account management.
- Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing sales organization by setting clear performance metrics, monitoring results, and providing regular coaching.
- Drive international sales expansion by identifying new market opportunities and tailoring go-to-market strategies across regions.
- Partner with Marketing to align sales initiatives with demand-generation and brand campaigns.
- Establish and optimize sales operations, including CRM management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, analytics, and reporting.
- Lead the creation and delivery of compelling sales presentations and proposals, particularly for enterprise and B2B clients.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and repeatability.
- Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure customer feedback informs product improvements and retention strategies.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and key client engagements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
- Proven success in exceeding revenue targets and driving consistent year-on-year growth in B2B environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing international sales or cross-border client engagements.
- Strong expertise in sales strategy, operations, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and competitive insights.
- Collaborative leadership style with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Background in SaaS, technology, or high-growth startup environments.
- Experience scaling sales teams, entering new geographies, or launching new verticals
