Role Summary

Head of Research & Development

1. BD Research Team

   – Supporting 5–7 Business Development Executives by sourcing and qualifying global fundraising clients (target: 25+ BD intro calls per week per BD).

2. IR Research Team

   – Supporting Investor Relations Managers by scheduling investor introduction calls (target: 8–12 per week per IR Manager).

You will design workflows, hire and train 20+ researchers, oversee lead generation output, and ensure all research activity directly supports company revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and scale the BD and IR research divisions in Ahmedabad.
• Recruit, train, and mentor 20+ researchers and analysts.
• Implement KPIs, tracking systems, and performance reports.
• Ensure consistent weekly delivery of qualified leads and investor introductions.
• Leverage tools like PitchBook, Expandi, Instantly, MailScale, and automation/scraping systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to align research output with $100K+/month revenue goals.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years in lead generation, research operations, or data management (preferably in finance, SaaS, or B2B).
• Proven success running large research or inside sales teams (10–30+ staff).
• Demonstrated record of generating consistent lead flow tied to measurable revenue.
• Experience with automation, CRMs, and research tools (LinkedIn, Apollo, PitchBook).
• Excellent leadership, English communication, and data analysis skills.
