Job Title / Designation: Head – R&D

Location: Bhavnagar

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in polymer composites.

1. Job Purpose:

The Research & Development (R&D) Head will lead the development of new polymer-based products and processes. This role requires extensive expertise in polymer chemistry, along with a strong understanding of product development and commercialization. The R&D Head will be responsible for:

Setting the research agenda.

Managing the development of innovative products.

Overseeing the testing and validation of new technologies.

Developing cost-effective processes and implementing cost-cutting measures.

2. Responsibilities:

Lead the development of new polymer-based products and processes.

Develop and implement an R&D strategy aligned with the company’s goals.

Innovate sustainable and cost-effective methods for creating composites.

Analyze and interpret data using instruments such as Viscometer, TGA, DSC, ATR, Moisture Titrator, and Gas Chromatography.

Manage product design, testing, and validation processes for new products and technologies.

Oversee research processes, including budget management and adherence to timelines.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners (e.g., suppliers and customers).

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in polymer resin chemistry.

Foster partnerships with academic and research institutions to support R&D initiatives.

3. Job Specification – Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

Education:

IIT/PhD in Chemistry, specializing in polymer composites.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in polymer composites.

Proven success in leading the development of new products and technologies.

Skills Required:

Proficiency with instruments such as Viscometer, TGA, DSC, ATR, Moisture Titrator, and Gas Chromatography.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Leadership and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask, adapt, and work efficiently in a team environment.
