About the Company

About the Role

Responsibilities

Lead market, user & clinical research for NPD including benchmarking, gap analysis, and concept validation.
Own complete standardization & documentation for beds, carts, food tables, cabinets & accessories.
Drive NPD execution: Crash/Emergency carts, OT & birthing beds, ER stretcher, smart beds, monitor trolleys, aluminium-extrusion products.
Deliver Design for Manufacturing (DFM), jigs, fixtures, welding & assembly instructions.
Set up and execute testing systems: cycle testing, load testing, drop tests, IEC60601 compliance framework.
Lead robotic welding implementation with production.
Create and maintain complete BOM architecture: Master, laser, production, assembly & ERP BOMs.
Establish packaging, labeling & sticker systems.
Mentor, review, and scale the in-house design engineering team.
Own Fusion 360 / CAD ecosystems, drawing release, and revision control.
Ensure 10-year warranty readiness through validation, testing, and field feedback loops.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Product Design (Master’s preferred)
3–10 years in product engineering, NPD & research-driven development

Required Skills

Expert in Fusion 360 / SolidWorks, BOMs, weldments, sheet metal, mechanisms
Strong in manufacturing processes, jigs, testing, and quality documentation
Experience building systems from scratch and leading design teams

Highly structured, hands-on, and detail-oriented
Strong cross-functional leadership & accountability
