Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Research and Development, based in Gurugram. The individual in this role will lead the R&D department, overseeing the development of new products, ensuring quality control, and standardization. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring the R&D team, designing and executing research projects, staying updated on advancements in Ayurvedic medicine, and aligning R&D efforts with organizational goals. The Head of R&D will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that new products adhere to both regulatory standards and market demands.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and conducting in-depth research in the field of Ayurvedic medicine or related areas
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, analyze results, and formulate evidence-based recommendations
• Experience in Project Management, including the ability to develop, monitor, and execute research and product development projects effectively
• Demonstrated Team Management skills, including fostering collaboration, mentoring staff, and building a high-performing R&D team
• Advanced degree in Ayurveda, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; Ph.D. is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic practices and their practical applications in modern medicine
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach
• Experience with quality assurance and regulatory compliance is a plus
