The Head of Operations – IT Projects, Digital Marketing, and GCC is responsible for driving strategic planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects while overseeing digital marketing initiatives and managing the operational excellence of the Global Capability Center (GCC). This role blends leadership in technology delivery, digital strategy, and operational management to enable business growth and transformation.
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across multiple business units.
Define and implement project governance, frameworks, and best practices to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Allocate resources, set priorities, and oversee project budgets and timelines.
Monitor project performance metrics, risk management plans, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, infrastructure, product, security) to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee strategy and execution of digital marketing campaigns across channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, content marketing, paid media).
Build and manage a high-performing digital marketing team or vendor ecosystem.
Develop data-driven marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Implement marketing analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and ROI.
Ensure brand consistency, audience targeting, and market positioning across digital platforms.
Stay ahead of emerging digital trends and incorporate them into marketing strategies.
Establish and manage the Global Capability Center to support technology, marketing, and operational functions.
Develop operating models, organizational structures, and governance mechanisms for the GCC.
Drive operational excellence, performance management, and continuous improvement across GCC teams.
Manage budgets, compliance, and vendor contracts within the GCC.
Build a strong culture of innovation, collaboration, and delivery excellence within the GCC.
Act as a bridge between executive leadership, IT, marketing, and GCC delivery teams to drive organizational goals.
Provide regular performance and progress reports to senior leadership.
Drive cross-functional alignment between IT, marketing, and operations functions.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements in all functions.
Champion change management and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
Bachelor’s/master's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
15+ years of experience in IT project management, digital marketing, or operations leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Strong understanding of IT systems development lifecycle, project methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), and PMO frameworks.
Proven track record in leading digital marketing strategies and scaling global operational teams.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical, budgeting, and vendor negotiation abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment.
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or Digital Marketing certifications (Google, HubSpot, Meta).
Experience with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and IT project management systems (JIRA, ServiceNow, MS Project).
Prior experience setting up or scaling a GCC for a multinational organization.
