Broad Function:


We are seeking Marketing Head, who will be responsible in global marketing strategy and execution across digital, offline, and event channels to drive brand positioning, demand generation, and sales pipeline growth. Build and manage a high-performing marketing team and partner ecosystem, while collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations. Ensure measurable ROI through data-driven campaigns and scale Smartbox’s presence across U.S., Europe, India, and other international markets.



Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Global Marketing Leadership: Own Smartbox’s global marketing strategy and execution, ensuring consistent brand positioning and lead generation across the U.S., India, Europe, and other priority markets.
  • Demand Generation: Build and execute campaigns that generate high-quality B2B leads and directly impact the sales pipeline.
  • Digital & Offline Marketing: Lead both digital (SEO, SEM, website, social media, content marketing) and offline (events, trade shows, PR, brand campaigns) initiatives with equal focus.
  • Team Building & Management: Hire, train, and manage a high-performing marketing team including content writers, graphic designers, videographers, SEO specialists, as well as external freelancers and agencies.
  • Exhibitions & Events: Drive Smartbox’s presence at global trade shows and expos, managing everything from pre-event marketing to on-site execution and follow-ups.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and operations teams to ensure marketing is tightly aligned with business goals and customer success.
  • Analytics & ROI: Set up and track KPIs for all marketing activities, ensuring measurable impact on lead generation, conversion, and brand growth.


Desired Experience Required:


  • At least 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including leading global campaigns that delivered measurable results in lead generation and sales pipeline.
  • Strong preference for candidates who have marketed hardware or hardware-plus-software products (e.g., lockers, access control, smart devices) to enterprise or institutional buyers.
  • Direct experience marketing to U.S. and developed markets, with deep understanding of international buyer behavior and enterprise decision cycles.
  • Hands-on experience across digital channels (SEO, SEM, social, analytics) and offline channels (PR, exhibitions, partner marketing, events).
  • Prior experience building and leading marketing teams, as well as managing agencies and freelancers across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to translate strategy into action, with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach when needed.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong executive-level presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, exhibitions, and partner events as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale global brand presence for a hardware-plus-software product.
  • Strong network of agencies, PR firms, and event organizers across international markets.
  • Prior experience in industries such as real estate, logistics, retail, or universities.
