Job Description

The Head of HR is responsible for driving the organization’s people strategy, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning human capital with business goals. This role oversees all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, employee engagement, compliance, and compensation strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, culture, and organizational structure.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation.


Talent Management

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Build talent pipelines through succession planning and leadership development programs.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.


Performance & Development

  • Establish a robust performance management framework linked to business KPIs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and capability building through structured L&D initiatives.
  • Facilitate career growth paths and internal mobility opportunities.


Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being initiatives.
  • Design and execute engagement strategies that enhance motivation and retention.
  • Serve as a cultural custodian, reinforcing organizational values and ethics.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
  • Oversee payroll, HRMS implementation, and data accuracy.
  • Manage HR budgeting, vendor relationships, and policy governance.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Develop competitive compensation structures and incentive plans.
  • Conduct benchmarking and periodic compensation reviews.
  • Manage performance-linked rewards and retention strategies.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 13+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in strategic HR planning, change management, and culture transformation.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR technology platforms.
